Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster NS/SC-Remote

Questpro is partnered with a National TPA who has an immediate opening for a Temporary Remote Workers Comp Claims Adjuster.
Must have experience/license in NC/SC and some VA experience is helpful.
High Profile accounts with high deductibles.
Pending 115-125 lost time cases max to include both repped & unrepped - litigated & non-litigated.
Duties:
New claim investigation includes 24-hour contacts, determining compensability, updating reserves and action planning.
Overall desk management includes reserving for surgeries, reserving for settlement.
Evaluating claims for settlement, negotiating claims with represented and represented injured workers, maintaining a current diary management system, returning customer emails and phone calls, create Claim Status Reports and participate in zoom claims reviews.
Knowledge of NC and SC state forms and jurisdictional laws.
The candidate should be able to complete or know how to complete the state forms and uploading them to jurisdiction website.
Provide continuous updates to the accounts, follow up with IW.
Being able to manage and deal with high profile accounts and the meeting the demands of the customers requests.
Being able to follow Special Handling Instructions per account and adhering to those SHI's.
Recommended Skills Claim Processing Management Systems Telephone Skills Surgical Procedures Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
